East Valley Authors’ next meeting is April 1, 2017 and will feature a workshop by New York Times bestselling author Susan Squires.

Whether you are trying to get an agent, to sell your book to a New York publisher or a small press, or garner readers for a work you’ve published yourself, you have one chance to prove to readers that any story with your name on it is worth their effort and attention, and more importantly, to make them want more. This talk will focus on specific techniques you can use to make a lasting impression and give your reader a good, satisfying ride that will have them clamoring for your next book.
