Happy New Year, EVAette’s! I hope everyone had a productive end to the year. We’ve got some exciting things in store for this year.
But first, business.

Next, there are some great things planned for 2016!
We are all here for a reason and that is to write and publish books. What sets EVA apart from other groups is our size which allows for us to get to know each other. Every EVA member is here to support one another and make sure that we are all on track.
We want to see each member acheive their goal of completing a novel and getting it published. We have been doing Book-In-A-Year for a while now, and decided it was time to take it to the next leve. So in order to see ALL our members published, we have established The Plan. Each month EVA will feature a different speaker who will discuss a topic, taking us all from idea to publication-ready by the end of the year.

- March – Character Development
- April – Point of View
- May – Self- Editing
- June – Retreat & Birthday Bash

Be sure to check back here as we will have a spotlight featuring one EVA member a month. Starting in January. We will post interviews with our authors to give you a chance to get to know them and their books better. We will also be recapping our monthly meetings with highlights of what our speakers covered.
Our next meeting is this Saturday, Januaty 2nd. Since the Azusa Library will be closed for the holiday weekend, we will be having out monthly meeting at Marie Calender’s – 1175 Alosta Ave. Azusa (626) 963-9475, and the monthly $5 fee will be waived. We have a separate room available from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Bring some money for drinks and lunch, your laptops and brainstorming ideas so we can get you going for a wonderful and productive New Year! I look forward to seeing you there!
